Stephen and Annette Morley are specialized assignment missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene in the Republic of Ireland. They make their home in Wicklow Town, County Wicklow, on the east coast of Ireland, just south of Dublin. Married in 1989, the Morleys have two children. Elizabeth is a Senior at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS where she is working on her B.A. in Elementary Education. Matthew, who will be in Ireland with his parents, is a senior in high school and is seeking God’s leading for his future. Prior to their present assignment, they served in pastoral ministry for 21 years. Stephen most recently served as the Senior Pastor in Richland, Washington.
Stephen and Annette are products of the ministry of our international church. Stephen was raised in a pastor’s home in England, Denmark, and the U.S. His parents are Rev. Frank & Margaret Morley. Annette was a missionary kid in South Africa. Her parents are Rev. Denzil & Kay Dodds. It was in Africa that Steve & Annette first met.
Missions has always held an important place in the Morleys’ hearts, from serving on Youth in Mission teams, participating and leading in Work and Witness and Jesus Film Trips, to serving on various district missions councils. They share a story of God’s call and grace on their lives and are always looking for ways to incarnate Christ to our world. They are committed to a vision of seeing the church of the Nazarene planted throughout the Republic of Ireland.

Going Where the Church is Not Yet
Today there are over 4.3 billion people who live in areas where there is little to no gospel witness. 4.3 billion people who have not heard the message of the gospel, who have never heard the name of Jesus. We believe that everyone deserves to hear. God continues to call the Church of the Nazarene to spread the message of the gospel, to preach holiness, and to bring good news to the poor all over the world. The task is enormous; far too big for anyone to do alone, but together we can go where the church is not yet and see people, communities, and nations transformed. Reaching these people begins with one step, a step of obedience and faithfulness that says yes to God’s call. Take your first step and start your journey toward serving in missions today.
