Daniel and Margarita Pesado
Daniel and Margarita Pesado are global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene serving in Spain.
Daniel is a third generation Nazarene. His grandparents were participants in the founding of the Church of the Nazarene in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Margarita is a converted Catholic. The Pesados were converted to the Church of the Nazarene in Buenos Aires in 1979.
Daniel received his bachelor's degree in Buenos Aires through an extension program. He received his bachelor’s degree in theology in Costa Rica. He is currently working on his master's degree.
The Pesados have been involved in full-time ministry since 1987, and have served on two different regions – South America and the Eurasia Region. Prior to their assignment in Spain, the Pesados served as missionaries to South America. They served in Quito, Ecuador, in the South America Regional Office, Bolivia, and Peru. They were then granted specialized assignment contracts to Argentina, where Daniel served as the field director for Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. During the last year of their term of service in Peru, they saw forty-six churches planted. They saw thirteen churches planted during the last year of their. They also served the Church and Global Mission for 5 years with the support team for the Global Mission Publications and Casa Nazarena Publications.
The Pesados have three grown children: Natalia, Ignacio and Federico.

Going Where the Church is Not Yet
Today there are over 4.3 billion people who live in areas where there is little to no gospel witness. 4.3 billion people who have not heard the message of the gospel, who have never heard the name of Jesus. We believe that everyone deserves to hear. God continues to call the Church of the Nazarene to spread the message of the gospel, to preach holiness, and to bring good news to the poor all over the world. The task is enormous; far too big for anyone to do alone, but together we can go where the church is not yet and see people, communities, and nations transformed.
